Simon Dunne has been appointed as Market Director for the Irish division of Royal Canin UK & Ireland.

Simon will sit on the UK and Ireland leadership team and take over responsibility for the Irish market from Olga Gibbs who has moved to an exciting new role within the Royal Canin business.

Jimmy Park, General Manager of Royal Canin UK and Ireland, said, “Simon will be a great asset to our business. He joins a passionate, dedicated team that leads the way in delivering health through nutrition to help pets live better, healthier and happier lives.”

Simon said, “I’m excited to be working with such an authentic business where the passion and commitment to purpose of making a better world for pets through science-based health nutrition is immediately evident. I look forward to learning from my new colleagues and continuing the incredible success they have achieved.”

Having taken a year out to gain an MBA in 2017, Simon has most recently been working with Unilever in the UK to accelerate their on-demand offering for market-leading ice cream brands such as Ben & Jerry’s and Magnum.  With a background in marketing, commercial and strategy roles, Simon brings broad international experience and perspective to his new role.
