JPen Medical, the market leader in on-site testing of medical devices in GP Surgeries and Pharmacies is set to save Veterinary Practices a lot of time and money
JPen Medical, the market leaders in on-site testing and calibration of diagnostic equipment among GP Surgeries and Pharmacies is bringing the same service to Veterinary Practices.
Instead of having different equipment tested at different times by different engineers (sometimes even having to send the equipment away) a JPen engineer, trained and qualified to test a wide range of equipment, comes to your practice and completes all of the tests on the same day.
“This approach has transformed the way GPs have their equipment tested”, said Stuart Price Marketing Director of the PHS Group, “from our research, virtually every GP uses this service. It has typically halved the cost to a GP and almost as importantly, it removes the administrative hassle of keeping on top of what needs testing and when”
JPen Medical created the on-site testing market in 2004, with the change in GP contracts; requiring them to provide an audit trail to demonstrate their diagnostic equipment was operating accurately. Today, JPen services over 3,000 sites across the UK, testing over 50,000 items pa.
“Through speaking to equipment manufacturers and inspecting the equipment itself, it became evident that the majority of devices used in Veterinary Practices is the same as that used GP Surgeries“ reports Peter Averill, General Manager of JPen. “Logically, we thought vets could gain the same benefits as GPs and we were delighted to confirm this from the work we have already completed for veterinary practices.
