The first Council meeting under the leadership of WVA President Dr Tjeerd Jorna will discuss policies, education, the 150th anniversary WVA history project, the World Veterinary Day and Award 2009, World Rabies Day and related activities, and future World Veterinary Congresses planned for Cape Town in 2011 and Prague in 2013. The Council will also prepare the strategic plan for 2010-2015.
