The College of Animal Welfare (CAW) is delighted to announce that registrations are now open for Head Nurse Congress held on Thursday 14 May 2026.
Head Nurse Congress is an event solely focused on head veterinary nurses and practice managers - exploring all aspects of the roles; from the many different responsibilities to the challenges that are faced on a daily basis. This congress offers 7 hours of evidenced CPD and this year we are welcoming a range of expert industry speakers to deliver lectures. Our live Q&A sessions give you the opportunity to pose questions to be answered by the speakers themselves.
Delegates will explore Building your practice vision and empowering your team, gain insight through Managing Menopause Within Practice, and develop leadership skills in Strategise for Success in Veterinary Practice with the CAW Business School. The programme also includes confidence‑building sessions such as Resolving Tensions with Confidence and Imposter Syndrome: Managing Fears of Inadequacy & Self‑doubt, ensuring a rich and empowering day of professional development.
