Teleradiology generally refers to X-ray, CT- and MRI studies, which are reported by certified radiologists or neurologists based on the preliminary report and clinical symptoms.
Teleneurology reports are obtained as part of neurological imaging studies (CT and MRI). In addition to the diagnostic findings, these include therapeutic recommendations and are exclusively reported by neurologists.
For both types of reports, the veterinarian can choose between ‘Standard’ (current average turnaround time 8h 20min) and ‘Express’ (less than 2h) processing time. Additionally, the reporting of X-ray images allows the selection of ‘Fastlane’ (<1h).
