Vet Nurse Wins Apple AirPods In Dechra’s Lifelong Ear Partnership Quiz Prize Draw

A West Sussex vet nurse has won Apple AirPods in a prize draw after participating in a ‘Guess the dog’s breed by its ears’ online quiz.
Lily Evans from Medivet Faygate, near Horsham won the prize for guessing six dog breeds correctly by identifying their ears in a quiz.
The light-hearted quiz was part of a wider campaign to highlight Dechra’s Lifelong Ear Partnership owner resources which provide vet professionals and owners with education, tips and support to achieve better clinical outcomes and owner satisfaction for dogs with otitis externa.
The communication tools were developed in response to research carried out among practising vets in the UK and Europe1, which identified that owner communication was an important and sometimes stressful part of case management. The research also revealed that many vets perceived owner knowledge of otitis as low.
Claire Westoby, companion animal brand manager at Dechra, says: “Otitis externa in dogs can be extremely challenging to treat and often requires a clear step-by-step plan and buy-in and compliance from owners to reduce the risk of recurrent problems. The quiz was a great way to raise awareness of otitis externa and promote our Lifelong Ear Partnership resources to vet professionals.”
