VetEnvoy, is today announcing that vets will be able to register MyPetmicrochips directly through their Practice Management System (PMS), making it easier and faster for vets to register microchips for their customers and pets.

VetEnvoy currently offers integrations between a vet PMS and a variety of pet insurance, labs and microchipping companies. Adding MyPet to the list demonstrates VetEnvoy’s commitment to expanding its partner network, enabling vets to share electronic information faster.

Once the microchip is registered via VetEnvoy, MyPet will send a message to both the vet and the pet owner to confirm the registration has been successful. Following this, MyPet will contact the pet owner to check the details are correct and will send helpful follow up reminders by email and SMS when confirmation of details is needed.

Sarah Kirkham, Managing Director at VetEnvoy, said: “At VetEnvoy, our priority is making life easier for our veterinary partners, which is why we’re delighted to have partnered with MyPet. Chip registration through VetEnvoy means pet owners and vets get a great service, and that’s exactly what we want to provide.

As we look to the future, our focus remains on developing new partnerships and products, using tech to create connections that power the veterinary ecosystem”.

Conor McManus, Co-founder of MyPet, said: “At MyPet, we always aim to make microchipping easy for veterinary teams and pet owners. From our conversations with our customers, it's clear VetEnvoy helps save veterinary teams time and effort, which is why we're excited to have completed this integration with VetEnvoy.

“This adds another excellent registration method for our veterinary customers which will reduce the administration burden for our customers and ensure more lost pets get home safely.”
