Veterinary Management Group Launches Online Resource Hub
The Veterinary Management Group (VMG) has unveiled a new website offering a comprehensive Resource Hub to support veterinary professionals working in leadership and management roles.
The Hub includes more than 60 templates, protocols and model documents for use with the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme (PSS), together with more than 50 webinars and a range of other educational and developmental resources. The new website also provides guidance for those wishing to study for the VMG’s industry-leading Certificate in Veterinary Practice Management (CVPM) and Veterinary Practice Administration Certificate (VPAC).
Commenting on the new website, VMG President Gillian Page said: “Against a backdrop of huge change and ever-increasing competition, our members are charged with ensuring the growth of their businesses. To deliver this, they need practical support.
“Our Resource Hub brings together a uniquely wide range of templates, protocols and other resources. Whether they are looking for help with fire risk assessments, CPD protocols, how to deep-clean their theatre or clinical governance, our members will find practical help and proven templates on the Resource Hub. During my career, I have personally navigated the PSS four times and, having contributed to the information we are now offering, I know that it will be of great value to other members undertaking this accreditation.”
Other features of the VMG’s new website include a job board and a forum enabling members to share best practice, ask advice from each other, discuss topics of interest and arrange meets up, together with the capability for members to manage their membership online and form ‘groups’ to enable colleagues to take advantage of member discounts for VMG-SPVS Congress, regional CPD and networking events.
Gillian Page added: “We believe the Resource Hub, together with the other new features on our new website, will mean that our members will now find it even easier to connect with each other and more convenient to access the resources they need to help to develop their careers and their businesses.”
