Vetstream Webpartner Launches Content Service For Practice Websites
A new Content Service offering 'pet owner-friendly' pre-prepared content for use on practice websites and in e-newsletters has been launched by online veterinary content specialist Vetstream for its veterinary practice website service Webpartner.
The new service features stories written by veterinary professionals on a range of topics relevant to small animals. Preventative health is a particular focus with topics including:
The risks to dogs from chocolate or swimming in ponds with blue-green algae
Common health problems, including dental issues and tick removal
- Seasonal advice, including helping dogs to stay cool in Summer and to cope with the firework season.
The Content Service is available as an 'add-on' to Vetstream’s Webpartner Email Package, a service which offers clients the capability to send targeted emails to their clients. Instead of having to generate the stories themselves they will be provided with three news stories per month or can request stories on a particular topic. Each story features a call to action to drive visits and enquiries to the practice. The stories can also be posted on practice websites.
"Time is the enemy in a busy practice, even those with the best intentions of keeping in close and regular contact with their clients," explains Dr G Mark Johnston, Managing Director of Vetstream. "With our new Content Service, we're helping practices to save time by ensuring they have a constant stream of relevant, fresh and accurate content for their e-newsletters and websites.
"The stories are written in a friendly, accessible style and offer useful, educational information, as well as reinforcing the value of contacting the veterinary team and inviting them visit the practice with questions about pet health. They will help Vetstream Webpartner customers to ensure that their e-newsletters are fresh and interesting and that content on their website is updated regularly in line with the changing seasons and other topical developments."
