Diseases of the Canine Cornea and Ocular Surface- The long and the short of it.With the current popularity of brachycephalic breeds in the UK, practitioners are increasingly encountering canine corneal and ocular surface conditions. Using case-based discussion this highly interactive course aims to provide practitioners with confidence in approaching common disorders of the canine cornea and pre-corneal tear film. It will provide delegates with tools for discussion of these conditions and the treatment options available to owners. Starting off with an overview of the ophthalmic examination and top tips for sampling of the eye, this course will then move on to cover the diagnostic approach and treatment options for various corneal conditions including traumatic injuries, corneal opacities, corneal masses, dry eye and keratitis, to name a few.
