Dental disease is among the most common conditions seen in rabbits in veterinary practice, making a structured and confident approach essential for effective management. This practical course is designed to help you develop the knowledge and technical skills required to manage these cases from initial assessment through to treatment.
Through a combination of focused teaching and hands-on wet-lab sessions, you will review rabbit dental anatomy, clinical examination and diagnostic approaches before practising key dental techniques. Practical sessions will include procedures such as incisor and molar burring, extractions and management of dental abscesses. The course also covers anaesthetic considerations, analgesia and communication with owners to support effective long-term case management.
