Do you want to improve your diagnosis and management of small animal respiratory disease cases?
Small animal respiratory diseases can be both stressful and frustrating to manage and clinical signs of respiratory disease can range from life threatening to infuriatingly chronic in nature. This online course will present a problem-based approach to several common manifestations of respiratory disease in dogs and cats. The course also provides an update on a range of diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for managing respiratory cases.
Key areas
-Assessment and stabilisation of the dyspnoeic patient
-An overview of respiratory stabilisation and diagnostic procedures, including TFAST (thoracic ultrasound), thoracocentesis, thoracic drain placement, bronchoscopy and rhinoscopy, and airway sampling
-Case examples of various respiratory presentations
-Perianaesthetic management of respiratory cases and procedures - emergency and routine
