With just 10 weeks to go, veterinary professionals are being encouraged to secure their place at ECC Congress 2026, taking place on 5 and 6 November at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds.

Organised by Vets Now, the UK's only dedicated emergency and critical care congress will offer 80 hours of CPD across seven learning streams, alongside a packed exhibition featuring industry suppliers and partners. Session recordings are included, allowing delegates to revisit content after the event.

The programme features more than 30 speakers from the UK and overseas, including Professor Kate Hopper (University of California), Associate Professor Claire Sharp (Murdoch University) and Marlaina Hrosch (VEG ER for Pets, New York). Topics span ECC anaesthesia, advanced surgical techniques, oncology, diagnostics, sepsis, nursing care and complex case management.

Designed for vets, RVNs and veterinary teams at all career stages, the event combines clinical lectures, practical workshops and case-based discussions, alongside sessions on communication, teamwork and wellbeing.

Simon Hagley, ECC Specialist and Clinical Director at Vets Now Referrals Manchester, said:

"We've designed the 2026 programme around the realities of ECC practice, combining practical skills, clinical discussion and emerging topics. With 80 hours of CPD, seven learning streams and access to session recordings, delegates have more opportunities than ever to tailor their learning experience."

Alongside the educational programme, delegates can attend the Congress Gala Dinner and take part in wellbeing activities including VetYogi, a morning running club and on-site massage sessions.

ECC Congress 2026 is open to all veterinary professionals, including vets, veterinary nurses, students and recent graduates. Woodley Equipment, DMS, Burtons Veterinary Equipment and Deepscope Ultrasound Simulator are all supporting the event.
