Vets Now Surgeon Among 51 Honoured In RCVS Fellowship Admissions For 2025
Vets Now is proud to announce that Paul Aldridge, Referral Surgeon at Vets Now Referrals Manchester, Clinical Board Member at IVC Evidensia Referrals and CPD Speaker, has been awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) for Meritorious Contributions to Clinical Practice.
He joins a cohort of 51 veterinary professionals recognised this year by the RCVS - its largest intake to date - highlighting the breadth of talent and dedication across the sector. The Fellowship celebrates excellence in clinical practice, professional leadership, and veterinary knowledge, with Paul Aldridge acknowledged for his significant contributions to postgraduate education through teaching and publication.
The announcement came on the 30th anniversary of Paul Aldridge’s graduation from the University of Liverpool and his registration as a Member of the RCVS (MRCVS), marking a career defined by clinical rigour and a commitment to mentoring the next generation of vets.
Reflecting on the honour, Paul said:
“The profession has changed dramatically over the past three decades. The level of care we now provide makes mentorship and practical education more important than ever.”
Vets Now extends its congratulations and thanks to colleagues John Williams, Aoife Reid, and Gayle Hallowell FRCVS for their support of the application
Paul Aldridge will begin a busy autumn of teaching engagements, including sessions at the Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Society (VECCS) in San Diego, CENTRAL CPD, Improve Veterinary Education, and the University of Central Lancashire School of Veterinary Medicine.
The full list of 2025 Fellows will be formally admitted at Fellowship Day in Westminster on 27 November 2025.
