No fewer than seven new books are making their first appearance at BSAVA Congress 2019. Two of these have just been published: the brand new BSAVA Guide to Pain Management in Small Animal Practice, edited by Ian Self, gives practical information on pain management in a wide range of small animals, emphasizing patient welfare and evidence-based medicine; the BSAVA Manual of Reptiles, 3rd edition, edited by Simon Girling and Paul Raiti, has been extensively updated to reflect the increasing sophistication of reptile medicine and surgery and acknowledges the expanding range of reptile species kept as companion animals.
BSAVA has released five other titles since last year’s event:
· The BSAVA Pocketbook for Vets, 2nd edition, edited by Sheldon Middleton
· The BSAVA Manual of Canine and Feline Shelter Medicine, edited by Rachel Dean, Maggie Roberts and Jenny Stavisky
· The BSAVA Manual of Canine and Feline Musculoskeletal Disorders, 2nd edition, edited by Gareth Arthurs, Gordon Brown and Rob Pettitt
· The BSAVA Manual of Canine and Feline Head, Neck and Thoracic Surgery, 2nd edition, edited by Daniel J. Brockman, David E. Holt and Gert ter Haar
· The BSAVA Manual of Canine and Feline Dentistry and Oral Surgery, 4th edition, edited by Alexander M. Reiter and Margherita Gracis.
Delegates will be able to take advantage of special Congress prices on these and all other BSAVA books by visiting the lower deck of the BSAVA stand, and members will receive an additional £5 discount.
