Featuring a “Bachelor” Maltipoo Who Has Been Left a Substantial Inheritance from His Master and Will Choose among Ten “Bitchlorettes” on www.americasnextprincess.Com Former ABC Bachelor Prince Lorenzo Borghese hosts new web series with cast made up entirely of dogs Viewers who watched the premiere of “America’s Next Princess” last night were shocked when they discovered it was not Prince Lorenzo Borghese searching for his next princess, but rather an adorable Maltipoo named Bond looking for his next princess! It soon became apparent that this clever and hilarious web series pokes fun at reality shows and celebrities using dogs as characters. In fact, during last night's debut, the show officially changed its name to America’s Next Top Dog: The Princess. The cast of dogs Bond has to choose from includes a Labradoodle New Yorker very similar to a certain Sex in the City character; Palin, a pit bull in lipstick; Bella, a moody mutt with a taste for blood; Kimbo, a "real housewife" from Atlanta ; Lucy, a club-going former child star; Caroleena, a sexy collie who wears a vial of blood around her neck; Susan, a homely singing sensation from Ireland ; Hoprah, a talk show queen; Heidi, a narcissistic Chihuahua reality star; and Briana, a pop singer recovering from an abusive relationship. The series coincides with the launch of Borghese's discount pet products site, RoyalPetClub.com. The prince will help combat the neglect of animals in these tough economic times by donating $1 to the American Humane Association for every free product shipped from the new site. Borghese will also donate $1 to the North Shore Animal League America for all other orders placed through August 17th, 2010. After each episode, viewers will be prompted to join RoyalPetClub.com (membership is free) and to participate in this important charity component. “This show is intended to make people laugh while shedding light on the role animals play in our lives. I'm happy to help viewers contribute to causes that will give each and every animal a loving home,“ says Borghese, “I really wanted to make a difference in the pet world, and what better way to draw attention to these charities than through humor?” The series can now be found at RoyalPetClub.com. New episodes will appear every Monday. For more information and to view the trailer, please visit www.americasnextprincess.com.
