Bishops Vets In Hatfield Welcomes A Familiar Face As New Clinical Director
Since Bishops Vets opened in 1991, the practice has been a firm favourite with Hatfield pet owners. In fact, so in demand are their services, they had to relocate to larger premises within the Hatfield Business Park just a few years ago.
After over 25 years at the helm, Head Vet Yves Gisseleire has decided it’s time to step down as the practice’s Clinical Director. Whilst he will continue to work as a Vet at the practice treating the pets of Hatfield that he has come to know and love, he is handing the reins of clinical lead and running the business over to his colleague Catherine Soffair.
Vet Catherine will be a familiar face to Bishops clients having joined the practice in 2012 and is delighted to be taking on her ‘dream job’ of running the practice going forwards. “The team here are really special, the clients are wonderful and we have excellent facilities to be able to treat animals on site, what more could I ask for!” says Catherine.
How about the blessing of your old boss… “Catherine is an excellent vet and a wonderful person, I know our practice is not only in safe hands with her, but that she has some exciting plans for its future which I am in full support of” said Yves.
As a huge advocate of the practice’s preventative health care scheme, the Pet Health Club, Catherine and the team are already promoting free goodie bags worth over £30 for pets that sign up to the scheme this month. “We never want to see pets becoming ill or dying from preventable diseases. That’s why we are so passionate about our Pet Health Club, which ensures pets get the best all year round preventative treatments, while saving their owners’ money and getting additional benefits such as reduced costs for long term medications, for being a member.”
