Protexin Veterinary livened up the British Veterinary Nursing Association’s 2009 Congress this year with a host of spirited games based around their product range and an impressive display at their award-winning stand. Protexin Veterinary also sponsored the Race Night Dinner and the Gala Dinner and Disco at the BVNA Congress, which took place from the 9th to the 11th of October at the Kettering Conference Centre. The ‘Best Stand’ award at the BVNA Congress was awarded to Protexin Veterinary, whose large 36msq stand displayed the current advertising campaign featuring Freddie the dog and his impressive acrobatic stunts. Nurses who visited the Protexin stand could participate in an entertaining wire buzzer ‘tightrope’ game starring Freddie, as well as a fun hula-hoop competition, all for an assortment of great prizes. There were six winners in the games at the Protexin Veterinary stand overall, and some truly excellent results were achieved. The Saturday winner of the ‘tightrope’ buzzer game, pulled out all the stops with a time of 9.6 seconds, and one tenacious nurse won Friday’s hula-hoop contest by keeping the hoop going for 25 minutes! Visitors were also able to learn about Protexin’s recently-launched liver supplement Denamarin, as well as Protexin’s comprehensive range of veterinary probiotic supplements, particularly Pro-Kolin+, the market-leading probiotic paste for dogs with digestive upset. With dynamic and informative games and displays during the day, and fantastic events in the evening, Protexin Veterinary’s presence at the 2009 BVNA congress was a huge hit with veterinary nurse attendees. Kate Rouse, Marketing Manager for Protexin said, “We are extremely committed to this market and invested heavily in this event, and we wanted to communicate our product range in a professional but fun way. Visitors to the stand were really impressed and winning the best stand award was the icing on the cake.”
