Can You Help Us Improve Equine Health And Quality Of Life? Asks Zoetis
Zoetis UK Ltd today announced that it is calling on horse caretakers to complete a short online survey, to help with its mission to transform the quality of life of horses.
Together with the research team behind VetMetricaÔ, that develops quality of life tools to measure how an animal ‘feels’ about its circumstances, Zoetis is developing an innovative tool to measure the health-related quality of life for horses.
As horse caretakers, you possess unique expertise and knowledge that provides crucial input to this project and so we are asking that you spend around 15 minutes to help us understand the relevance and clarity of specific horse behaviours.
“The survey results will support the development and validity of our new measurement tool”, said Prof Jacky Reid, “especially when used in horses living with chronic conditions like arthritis or laminitis where their quality of life is significantly compromised.”
All responses are anonymous and used solely for research.
