Ceva Animal Health, the manufacturer of DOUXO S3, is hosting a webinar titled ‘Topical therapy in canine atopic dermatitis’.

The Webinar Vet online seminar, which takes place at 8.00pm on Wednesday 27 May 2020, will be presented by Dr Tim Nuttall BSc BVSc CertVD PhD CBiol MSB MRCVS, RCVS Specialist in Veterinary Dermatology and Head of Dermatology at The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh.

Accounting for one hour’s CPD, the webinar will cover the pathophysiology of canine atopic dermatitis and understanding the concept of dysbiosis of the cutaneous microbiome.  It will also review the topical treatment options, explore the different formulations available and their application whilst evaluating the latest evidence for the safety and efficacy of topical products as well as employing practical topical therapy as baseline treatment in canine atopic dermatitis and superficial bacterial and Malassezia infections.  After the webinar, delegates will have the opportunity to ask Tim questions on dermatology.

Andrew Fullerton, product manager for DOUXO S3, comments: “During these difficult times we are proud to be able to provide this webinar, as it is an ideal way to ensure you keep connected and stimulated as well as helping to fulfil your CPD requirements.  Also, topical products are a vital part of managing atopic cases and especially when consulting remotely, therefore Tim’s knowledge could be very useful for everyone.”

To register for the webinar, visit https://www.thewebinarvet.com/pages/register-free-canine-atopic-dermatitis-ceva/.  The webinar can also be viewed online after the live event.  Each online delegate will receive a certificate via the personal Webinar Vet CPD tracker.  After registration, delegates will have the opportunity to enter a competition to win a £100 Amazon voucher.
