Leading small animal veterinary group, Companion Care, is to significantly expand its surgery footprint in Scotland. This follows the successful launch of two full service surgeries this summer inside Pets at Home stores in Linwood and Stirling.
The company has set a target to open at least six new surgeries inside Pets at Home stores in Scotland over the next 12 months as part of its overall expansion plans across the UK. By the end of 2010 Companion Care is on target to have 70 surgeries following the successful launch of five this summer.
Commenting on the plans, Jane Balmain, managing director of Companion Care, said: “We have been really pleased with the reception we received in Scotland following the launch of Linwood and Stirling and subsequently we have received a significant level of enquiries from veterinary professionals for other potential sites in Scotland.
“The reception from customers in the new surgeries has been superb and we have seen record numbers of new client registrations and appointments which bodes well for our further Scottish launches.”2621 views
