CVS’ Castle Vets Moves To Large New Practice In Bishop Auckland
CVS practice Castle Vets has moved to a brand new 4,756 square foot purpose-built building on the edge of Bishop Auckland. The practice was previously located in a small terraced building on a residential street in the town.
CVS has invested over £1.3 million to relocate and upgrade the practice with the latest facilities and equipment. The new modern building contains five consulting rooms, a spacious operating theatre, a dental suite, digital x-ray facilities, dental x-ray, in-house laboratory and an isolation ward for very sick animals. There is also a large reception area with cat and dog waiting areas, separate dog and cat hospital wards and a small dog exercise area.
The new property will enable the practice to increase the number of clients it serves and significantly expand the range of clinical services it offers to pets in the locality. To staff the practice, a team of vets, nurses, PCAs and receptionists have moved to the new site.
Helen Rickard, Practice Manager at Castle Vets, said: “We had considerably outgrown our old Maude Terrace building. So we are excited by the move to this spacious new site. Its state-of-the-art facilities will mean that we’ll be able to offer the highest quality of animal care and look after many patients right here. It’ll also enable us to grow the number of patients we see.”
