CVS Referral Network Grows With Launch Of Manchester Veterinary Specialists

Manchester Veterinary Specialists (MVS), a purpose-built orthopaedic centre and part of the CVS referral network, opened its doors to patients on 30 January 2017. Based in Worsley, Manchester, the hospital is led by joint Clinical Directors, orthopaedic surgeons Ben Keeley and Steve Bright, both of whom are European and RCVS Recognised Specialists in Small Animal Surgery.
The MVS clinic is a brand-new facility located adjacent to Pet Medics, the company’s long established 24 hour hospital which is currently undergoing a complete refurbishment. CVS, the UK’s largest and fastest growing provider of veterinary services, has invested more than £1 million to create one of the most advanced single-discipline specialist veterinary hospitals in the country. MVS is equipped with the latest diagnostic and surgical equipment, including modern theatre suites, state-of-the-art monitoring and anaesthesia facilities, a Siemens 16 slice CT scanner and is the only veterinary clinic in the UK to own a fluoroscopic mini C-arm to facilitate minimally invasive surgery. Services offered include fracture repair, arthroscopy, tibial plateau levelling osteotomy, total hip replacement and arthrodesis.
