An interactive exhibition about the treatments and support available for veterinary professionals dealing with endocrinology related diseases has scooped a top award for Dechra Veterinary Products.

The firm won Best Large Stand category for its display at the recent London Vet Show, the biggest event of its kind in Europe.

The two-day event, organised in association with the Royal Veterinary College and the British Veterinary Association, attracted more than 450 exhibitors and thousands of visitors.

Dechra focused its display on its range of products available for endocrinology conditions including Zycortal®, the only European licensed treatment for dogs with primary hypoadrenocorticism (Addison’s disease), Vetoryl®, used for canine hyperadrenocorticism (Cushing’s syndrome), Felimazole® for the treatment of feline hyperthyroidism and Thyforon® for hypothyroidism in dogs.

Craig Sankey, Brand Manager said: “Dechra has a reputation for expertise in endocrinology and are leading the way in this field, providing effective treatments for pets with endocrine diseases.

“We know that diagnosing and treating these conditions in animals can be complex so we wanted to illustrate to delegates the range of treatments and resources that we have available to them and pet owners in their on-going management of these diseases.

“During the show, we were very busy talking to delegates and outlining the help that is available to them in their practice.”
