Delegates at Dechra Veterinary Products' stand at BEVA Congress
Support material from Dechra Veterinary Products on equine pain management proved popular with delegates at the recent BEVA Congress.
Dechra, which supported the scientific programme at the event, welcomed equine professionals to its stand which promoted the company's ethos of 'Understanding equine health inside out.'
As a recognised leader in equine pain management, Dechra Veterinary Products provided support material to delegates on the importance of horse owner compliance while raising awareness of its dedicated website, www.equinepainmatters.com.
The company also sponsored a session led by Nicola Jarvis BVetMed MRCVS, on the subject of geriatric orthopaedics which included presentations on the management of chronic pain in equine osteoarthritis, and on the diagnosis and treatment of tendon and ligament injuries in the geriatric horse and pony.
Equine brand manager for Dechra Veterinary Products, Emma Jennings, said: “We were delighted to welcome delegates to our stand at BEVA Congress, where we discussed the assistance we could offer equine professionals through the Dechra equine protfolio.
“All the support was popular with visitors, who were keen to discover the wide range of veterinary solutions we now have in the Dechra equine range.
“Equine pain management is one of our key areas of expertise and we have a wide range of products which support the equine vet, including Equipalazone®, HY-50 Vet® and Vetivex®.”
The company also held a Wordsearch competition throughout the Congress event. The winner was Jenny Croft, of Loch Leven Equine in Kinross, who scooped a £250 Love2Shop voucher.
