Dermatology Expert To Lead Next Series Of Dechra CPD Seminars

A dermatology expert will lead the next series of Continuing Professional Development events organised by Dechra Veterinary Products.
Dr Stephen Shaw, BvetMed PhD DVD MRCVS RCVS Diplomate in Veterinary Dermatology, will present three Starting from Scratch interactive sessions in Leicester, Bristol and Chester in May and June.
Dr Shaw is the founder of UK Vet Derm which offers dermatology referrals and consultancy and is the former President of the British Veterinary Dermatology Study Group.
Starting from Scratch is a step-by-step approach to guiding veterinary professionals through the diagnosis and treatment of itchy, uncomfortable patients. Each interactive session will share a best practice approach to diagnosis and treatment of dermatology cases drawing on case study material.
They will be held on:
26 May at Hilton Leicester Hotel, Junction 21 Approach, Leicester, LE19 1DU
7 June at Holiday Inn Bristol-Filton, Filton Road, Bristol, BS16 1QX
8 June at DoubleTree by Hilton, Warrington Road, Chester, CH2 3PD
Dechra Brand Manager Claire Morgan said: “Dermatological conditions are regularly presented in practice and cases can be challenging, sometimes even frustrating.
“Each session will be full of handy hints on how to get the most out of your work up and get practical tips on gaining owner compliance. The sessions will also draw on Steve's wealth of experience in referral dermatology cases.”

Attending one seminar gives delegates two hours towards their personal CPD requirements. Each event begins with registration at 7pm, followed by a buffet at 7.30pm. The presentation starts at 8pm with time for questions afterwards.
