In a bid to improve awareness of itchy skin conditions, Royal Canin is asking practices across the country to get creative in order to win prizes ranging from £1000 worth of team building vouchers to specialist dermatology books.
Practices are being encouraged to create an ‘itchy skin’ window or waiting room display to help educate cat and dog owners about the reasons behind various pet skin problems.
Royal Canin’s Veterinary Marketing Executive, Richard Skinner, explains: “Around 25 per cent of small animal veterinary appointments are concerned with itchy skin. The display competition hopes to raise awareness of the help available for these conditions, including special scientific diets, in a fun and creative way.”
The closing date for the competition is 31 July and every entry will receive a fun size pack of chocolates for practice staff to share. Practices need to create their display, then photograph it before completing a short entry form. For more information about the competition, email [email protected].
