A busy veterinary practice in Guildford has made four appointments, with both familiar and new faces taking senior roles.

Natalie Berry, who has been with Linnaeus-owned Oak Barn Vets for a year, has been promoted to the role of clinical nursing manager.

Natalie has an interest in medical nursing as well as administrative aspects, while away from work she enjoys spending time with her dog Enzo and two senior cats.

Meanwhile, Claire Madgwick, a familiar face at Oak Barn having been at the practice for four years, takes on the role of lead veterinary surgeon.

Claire said: “Surgery is my favourite part of the job and I always look forward to my operating day. When I’m not in theatre I can be found consulting to help make unwell pets better and prevent healthy ones falling ill.”

Lucy Kulp has only just joined Oak Barn and takes up responsibility as a veterinary surgeon. She has a keen interest in internal medicine and recently started a post graduate certificate in this field.

When she’s not at Oak Barn, Lucy spends time with her baby tortoise. She is also a keen runner and has completed several marathons and regularly competes for a local running club.

Jenny Yuen also joins Oak Barn as a veterinary surgeon. She enjoys different aspects of practice work with special interests in soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and emergency medicine.

When not at work, Jenny loves travelling, hiking, and going on country and coastal walks. She also enjoys practising classical guitar and has a soft spot for golden retrievers and pet rats.
