Gunnercooke Advises Pets At Home Group Plc On £15m Acquisition Deal

Leading challenger law firm gunnercooke has advised Pets at Home Group Plc on its acquisition of veterinary telehealth provider, The Vet Connection.
The UK’s leading pet care business purchased the business, which offers veterinary telehealth advice, triage and ancillary services to customers and their pets, in a £15m deal this month. The deal was concluded in just four weeks and was announced by Pets at Home on 30th November.
The deal was advised by a senior team at gunnercooke, led by corporate partners Asad Ali and Sam Ogden. Nicky Androsov provided advice on data protection, intellectual property and commercial contracts, Emma Tegerdine on employment, Julian Moran on tax, Margaret Spencer on commercial property and Elle Berrett providing corporate support. Deloitte also provided advice on the tax and financial side for Pets at Home.
