Inspiring Vet Care And RSPCA Announce Multi-year Partnership To Help Improve Animal Welfare And Rehoming Across The UK
Inspiring vet care, the UK’s largest veterinary group operating across over 900 practices nationwide, has today announced a new partnership with the RSPCA, the UK’s largest animal welfare charity, becoming the official vet partner for rehoming and Adoptober.
The partnership will combine inspiring vet care’s clinical reach with the RSPCA’s national audience to help more animals find safe, loving homes, as well as collaborating on a number of animal welfare initiatives so that pets and their owners can live better lives together.
Inspiring vet care will fund vet vouchers delivered by frontline RSPCA officers to owners facing hardship, along with a pilot program providing access to preventative care for a year, through 250 free Pet Health Club memberships - ultimately keeping pets in homes where they are loved.
The partnership will also help to educate more owners so they can take the best possible care of their pets.
Through inspiring vet care, RSPCA adopters and volunteers will also benefit from discounts on Pet Health Club, the nation’s favourite pet health plan, helping owners to get set-up with the care that they need for their rehomed pets. Pet Health Club focuses on proactive, preventative pet care and covers routine treatments like vaccinations, tailored parasite protection and health checks to keep pets healthy.
Inspiring vet care will also serve as the official sponsor for Adoptober, the RSPCA’s annual rehoming campaign each October, which encourages people to ‘adopt not shop’. The partnership will help spotlight animals looking for new homes to more potential homes and will hopefully get more animals into new loving homes more quickly, while also bringing the new inspiring vet care brand to the charity’s broad supporter base.
George Dymond, inspiring vet care’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “We're excited to be working with the RSPCA, who share our belief in the importance of animal welfare. By working together, we can help empower pet owners with practical advice, education and support to drive improvements in animal welfare.”
RSPCA CEO Jo Rowland said: “Every day, the RSPCA works tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome animals who have experienced neglect and abuse, all while more animals are coming into our care.
“By joining forces with inspiring vet care, we can help more animals find loving homes more quickly, all while making room in our centres, so RSPCA officers can continue their vital rescue work.
“At the same time, this partnership will help fund vet vouchers and ongoing preventive healthcare support, which enable our frontline teams to help struggling owners care for their pets in safe, loving homes.
“Ultimately, this support will help empower even more pet owners with advice and support, so they can take the best care of the animals they share their lives with.”
