Medivet Addresses Each Of The Issues Raised In Panorama's 'It Shouldn't Happen At A Vets'

Dear Client
As you know, Panorama aired its programme on the veterinary profession on BBC1. Medivet featured in this programme, as a result of secret filming a year ago by Panorama's undercover reporter, Alex Lee, in our branches at Hendon, Stanmore, South Harrow, Watford and Kenton, and interviews with some of our clients.
We were appalled by some of the things we saw, as we are sure that you are, and wish to apologise unreservedly for them. We have suspended those staff members whose behaviour appeared to be unacceptable, and will be working with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in investigating their conduct and taking all necessary action. We are also setting up an enquiry panel, with independent expertise, to look at these issues and make recommendations.
We have always been very proud of the great work we do right across the group. We remain dedicated to the highest standards, and we believe in our staff. In all branches and at Head Office, we always receive a stream of positive feedback and thanks from happy clients.
Kind regards
Adi Neil BVSc CertVD MRCVS
