New website homepage screenshot For those who missed the Animal Welfare Foundation (AWF) annual Discussion Forum in the AWF’s 30th anniversary year the recordings of each session are now available to watch online. Part of the programme in May was handed over to previous speakers to highlight and celebrate the very positive outcomes past AWF debates have had on specific welfare topics such as welfare at livestock shows, the EU wild bird trade along with the non-stun slaughter and show dog welfare debates. Both the review sessions and new topics were followed by highly engaged debates all of which were kindly recorded by the Webinar Vet and count as CPD. Recordings of the new topics include:AWF Chairman Tiffany Hemming said: “Participants have given us the best feedback we’ve ever had including how much they value what AWF has done to take animal welfare issues forward. We hope that many vets watch the videos and also visit us online to see our other resources or to donate so that we can continue to have an impact on animal welfare.” All recordings are available on the AWF YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/BVAAWF. AWF is funded entirely by voluntary contributions. To donate or to find out more please visit www.bva-awf.org.uk or call 020 7908 6375.
