For those who missed the Animal Welfare Foundation (AWF) annual Discussion Forum in the AWF’s 30th anniversary year the recordings of each session are now available to watch online.
Part of the programme in May was handed over to previous speakers to highlight and celebrate the very positive outcomes past AWF debates have had on specific welfare topics such as welfare at livestock shows, the EU wild bird trade along with the non-stun slaughter and show dog welfare debates.
Both the review sessions and new topics were followed by highly engaged debates all of which were kindly recorded by the Webinar Vet and count as CPD. Recordings of the new topics include:- Laboratory animals and the work of the Named Veterinary Surgeon
- Where next for food assurance schemes?
- Animal and human abuse - grasping the golden moment
- Who should take responsibility for an animal’s welfare when an owner no longer can?
