Receptionists Offered Funded Customer Service Qualification
Veterinary receptionists may be able to benefit from potential government funding to enable them to study for a customer services qualification. The qualification, an Edexcel QCF Level 2 Certificate in Customer Service, has been launched by leading veterinary CPD provider Improve International with training delivered either at its HQ in Swindon or in practice.
Improve International is one of the UK’s leading private providers of veterinary CPD and runs courses in a variety of formats in venues across the UK and Europe with tutors selected for their expertise in their field. Edexcel is the UK's largest awarding organisation for vocational and academic qualifications. Government funding is available for students of the Certificate in Customer Service without an existing Level 2 qualification in another subject. Requests also depend on the age of the learner and will be assessed on an individual basis by Improve's local Edexcel accredited centre in Swindon.
The 30 hour course features three core units, assessed by a one hour online test:- understanding good customer service
- delivering effective customer service
- planning for self-development in customer service
