Norbrook UK has appointed Matt Swanborough as Southern Veterinary Advisor, with responsibility for providing technical and product support for Norbrook’s customers and Southern regional sales team.

Matt is a graduate of Bristol University and joins the company from a Somerset-based vet practice where he acquired extensive experience of the Norbrook product portfolio, particularly those used for the treatment of large animals.

During his time as a frontline vet he developed a special interest in herd level cattle lameness prevention, and created lameness reduction plans for dairy herds based on identifying and changing key areas that delivered the greatest possible impact.

Working across Norbrook’s diverse livestock and companion animal product range and alongside the Norbrook sales team, Matt will also be training Suitably Qualified Persons (SQPs) and veterinary surgeons.

He is looking forward to adding extra support and value to the company, as well as the opportunity to get more involved with industry meetings, writing and the educational side of the business.

Sandie Dashper, Norbrook’s Southern Regional Sales Manager says: “Matt will be on hand to provide high quality technical advice to our customers and work closely with our experienced sales team.

“While he will work across all aspects of the Norbrook product range, his large animal experience and interest in herd lameness control will bring valuable additional expertise and insights for our dairy farming and livestock customers.”
