Norbrook Showcases Range Of Companion Animal Easy-to-give Products At London Vet Show
Veterinary surgeons attending this year’s London Vet Show will have the chance to talk one-to-one with Norbrook’s companion animal team about how to improve medication compliance for some of the most common feline and canine disease areas.
A team of Norbrook veterinary advisors will be on hand to offer advice on treatment and administering key products at Stand H55 at the show, taking place at ExCeL London on 16-17 November.
Dr Rachel Crowe, Norbrook’s Senior Product Manager, said the show provides an excellent opportunity for veterinary professionals and industry leaders to share expertise.
“The show attracts Europe’s leading thinkers, visionaries and practitioners in small and large animal veterinary, and we are delighted to be able to share our insights into our latest award-winning treatments particularly for companion animals.
“The Norbrook team will be on the stand to welcome general queries about therapeutic compliance and health management and provide more specific information about Norbrook products and dosing methods.”
Dr Crowe explained that compliance is an area which Norbrook invests significantly, providing prescription-only veterinary medicines that make administering treatments, especially to cats, genuinely easier.
“Loxicom®, Noroclav® and Thyronorm® – to be on display at the show – are revolutionising compliance levels, and subsequently have all been awarded the International Cat Care (ICC) ‘Easy to Give’ Award.
“Cats are often a challenge to dose with owners battling with traditional tablet form medication. Feedback received is that treatments that are popular with cats, and easily accepted by cats, ultimately makes owners’ lives easier.”
Loxicom® is an oral suspension for dogs and cats for mild to moderate post-operative pain and inflammation, Thyronorm® is the only liquid therapy for the long-term management of feline hyperthyroidism, and Noroclav® Chewable is a flavoured tablet that can be crumbled into food to treat skin infections, urinary tract infections, respiratory infections and enteritis.
Norbrook will run a competition at the stand for the chance to be entered into a prize draw for one of three personalised stethoscopes. All visitors to the stand must do is successfully land a ball through the basketball hoop, attached to a cat scratching post and into the cat basket below.
