Northdale Vets are once again celebrating a successful fundraiser for rescue animals, this time a Cream Tea in aid of Paws Animal Sanctuary, Caring for the Animals Trust (CARAT), and local rabbit & guinea pig rescue Lumpy Lodge.
Organised by surgery staff members Hannah Pannell and Lizzie Walker, Northdale Vets raised over £900 to be split between all three charities whom all had stands at the popular Worthing event which took place in the Victoria Road clinic’s car park.
With great weather, live music and lots of fun, this was yet another successful event from Northdale Vets again promoting animal welfare and rescue pet adoption in gthe local community.
Local independent vet practice Northdale’s practice manager Jan says “Northdale staff find helping locally based charities very rewarding and give up their time freely to do it. We even had special Northdale cupcakes with a picture of our head vet Peter on some of them!”
A spokesperson from Lumpy Lodge Rescue commented “Northdale Vets’ fundraising will help our rescue pets immensely, in particular rabbit Wilson’s ongoing repeat molar dentals for the next 12mths.
“As well as his regular in between visits to combat the problem of ongoing serious mouth infections due to malocclusion, and he’s regularly on a cocktail of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs just to keep him comfortable.”
