Petplan Returns To ITV With Second Series Of Fern Britton: Inside The Vet’s

Petplan, the UK’s leading pet insurer, is bringing viewers back behind the scenes at The Grove Vets in Bristol as Fern Britton: Inside the Vet’s returns to ITV1 and ITVX for a second series from Sunday 12 July at 11.30am.
Following the success of the first series, Fern is back with vet Dr James Greenwood at the independent, family-run practice owned by husband-and-wife team Andy and Amy Valenzia.
For The Grove Vets, welcoming the cameras back has been a chance to showcase the work of the practice and re-live the positive experience of making the first series. Fern quickly became part of the team, getting stuck in behind the scenes and helping the practice keep things moving during busy days.
Amy Valenzia, practice owner and vet at The Grove Vets, said: “As a team, we were really proud of the first series because it showed the reality of practice life in a positive and authentic way. Every day is different, from routine checkups, dental work or vaccinations to life and death emergencies, so our days can be fast-paced and unpredictable, but the cameras and Fern fitted in brilliantly.
“We’re grateful to Petplan for giving us the opportunity to show the clinical expertise, judgement and teamwork that go into caring for pets every day.”
