Growing demand for Vet Support+ Business Services and Management Consulting requests from the Pfizer team of Business Consultants has led to the recruitment of an important new team member, Bal Bains.
Having started his Management Consulting career with Lane, Clark & Peacock, Bal went on to work for Standard Chartered, General Electric, General Motors, and DHL. He brings to the Pfizer Consultancy team a wealth of international business consulting and commercial experience over 20 years across Europe, Middle East and Africa specialising in Strategy, Marketing, Operations and Resource Management.
Speaking about the new appointment, Ned Flaxman, Director Business Innovation, commented; “This is a significant strategic appointment for us. Bal’s broad consulting experience from outside the veterinary industry will help bring new insights, frameworks and models to overcoming business challenges facing the veterinary industry. He will be using his extensive expertise, across all of the six pillars which make up the core Vet Support+ proposition, to help identify each practice’s most pressing business issues and implement new initiatives to deliver strategically superior performance.”
Bal is a graduate in Mathematics from Imperial College London and received Executive Management training from Cranfield School of Management, Cranfield University. He has also studied for an MBA from WBS, University of Warwick and participated in the extensive in-house training programme at Pfizer Business Consulting.
Bal will initially be helping implement best practice across Wales and Central England.4178 views
