Pool House Equine Clinic Finalists In Design Awards
Pool House Equine Clinic have won a place in the finals of the British Veterinary Hospital Design Awards 2019.
The new, multi-million pound clinic, opened last July by His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales, took two years to plan, with the partners of the practice ensuring they incorporated as many suggestions from the practice team as possible.
The new building has revolutionised working conditions for staff, making it easier for them to deliver the high standards of care expected at Pool House Equine Clinic.
Senior partner, Richard Stephenson said,
“I am incredibly proud of what the team at Pool House Equine Clinic have created and the care we are now able to offer our clients. Winning a place in the finals of the British Veterinary Hospital Design Awards for 2019 is the icing on the cake for us.”
The building has four operating theatres, two for operating on standing horses and two for full general anaesthetic care. The team at Pool House can offer dedicated colic surgery, fracture repair, specialist dental services, electronic lameness location, MRI and ultra sound scanning. There is also improved staff facilities such as accommodation for visiting external students and a fitness room for staff to use.
Now the team are playing the waiting game to find out how they do in the finals of the BVH Design Awards, as they await a visit from the judges in the next eight weeks.
