Nestlé Purina Petcare is pleased to welcome Natalie Weatherley as the new Head of Vet Sales UK. Natalie, who has worked in the veterinary industry for over 10 years, brings a wealth of valuable experience to the team and will be developing closer relationships with the veterinary profession and increasing awareness of PURINA® products and science.

Natalie has extensive industry experience: she previously held roles with a UK Vet wholesaler and a leading pharmaceutical company. Most recently she worked for the Pets at Home Vet Group in an operational role, before being promoted to the role of Head of Commercial.

“We’re delighted that Natalie is coming to lead the team,” says Harriet Morley, Specialist Channel Director – Purina Northern Region. “Natalie is well-known and respected in the industry and has the insights, knowledge and experience to develop positive collaborations with veterinary professionals.”

Natalie is already busy planning for the year ahead. “This is a great time to be joining Purina,” she says. “The veterinary sector is facing many challenges right now, but it is also presented with so many exciting opportunities. There is a fantastic team of veterinary professionals already in place at PURINA® and together we’re looking forward to identifying new ways to support practices and using PURINA® science to improve the health and welfare of pets.”

Purina has a rich history of scientific breakthroughs in the field of nutrition. For example, last year it launched a ground-breaking innovation in the management of cat allergens with PRO PLAN® LiveClear®. In 2021 this was followed up by the launch of PRO PLAN® HC Hydra Care™, a nutrient-enriched water supplement that is proven to promote hydration in cats.

“The team at Purina is proud to support vets with new innovations, which in turn helps pets to hopefully enjoy long, strong and happy lives,” says Natalie. “Our aim is to help vets provide the best care for their patients.”
