The Oncology Team at VRCC the Essex based Veterinary Referral Centre have become under increasing pressure as they currently have the only fully operational Linear Accelerator in UK giving Radiotherapy treatment to Dogs and Cats. However, the most experienced and highly qualified Veterinary Oncologist in the UK, VRCC’s Dr Susan M North has been rearranging already busy schedules and treatments to ensure that every Radiotherapy Patient in the Country receives the very best care and that vitally important Radiotherapy treatment schedules that have been started are continued and completed without interruption. A whole range of patients from University Veterinary Schools, Trusts and Referral Centres have all been readily accommodated by VRCC which takes Internal Medicine, Surgical and Oncology Referrals and Emergencies 24/7 and is the most advanced Private Centre in Europe for the treatment of Cancer in Dogs and Cats.
