As part of its on-going educational initiative for UK veterinary practices, Royal Canin is offering delegates to this year’s BVNA Congress (5 – 7 October) specialist clinic support. Tackling topics such as weight, dentistry and nutrition for seniors, puppies and kittens, the pet food manufacturer will be encouraging visitors to find out more about its wide range of practice support initiatives. With clinic support kits including the popular Weigh-in Club, Senior Pet Programme and Mouth Matters, Royal Canin will be on hand to offer advice on encouraging client awareness and participation, as well as providing practices with the tools to set up their own specialist clinics. Client guides, vouchers, posters and product information all form the kits, enabling delegates the ability to offer a ready-made service to their clients. Following the huge success of its puppy party webinar in the summer, Royal Canin will also be announcing the next in the series of webinars exclusively for Vet Nurses. A prize draw will also be held each day of the Congress with a camera up for grabs and Royal Canin food for the Vet Nurses’ own pets. Each entry will also receive a free clinic planner. Royal Canin’s Veterinary Marketing Manager, Lindsay Calcraft, explains: “By equipping practices with these educational materials and support kits, we hope to provide Vet Nurses with the confidence to offer advice and training to meet the needs of their clients. On arrival at the Royal Canin stand, delegates will be able to find out more about our initiatives such as our free CPD webinars, our comprehensive range of dog and cat life-stage diets and, importantly, the variety of clinic support kits that help promote preventative health care in practices. We’re already seeing great results in a number of veterinary practices, demonstrating the benefits of these specialist clinics.” Royal Canin will also be announcing the winning applicant of the BVNA Royal Canin Bursary at the Congress. For more information about Royal Canin, visit its stand (location: A03) or its website www.royalcanin.co.uk.
