Royal Canin is set to host a free webinar on canine reproduction as part of its on-going online training programme for vets and nurses. The ‘Avoiding Complications: Managing Reproduction’ webinar will take place on Tuesday 9 July 2013 at 8:30pm.
The one hour webinar will tackle the topic of breeding bitches and difficult pregnancies. Presented by European specialist in animal reproduction, Professor Gary England, and Royal Canin’s Veterinary Scientific Support Manager, Ian Williams, the webinar aims to increase listeners’ confidence when dealing with critical scenarios where advice and actions can make a big difference.
Professor Gary England of the University of Nottingham will discuss his approach to problematic pregnancies; causes; diagnoses; and, importantly, when and how to intervene when it matters most to the mother and puppy. Ian will then review where and how nutrition can influence reproductive performance.
Ian explained: “Our contact with breeding bitches might not be frequent, but when cases do present themselves in practice they are bound to be impactful and life-changing. This webinar will provide vets and nurses the opportunity to hear about Professor England’s approach and will leave them with a better understanding of what is often seen as a complicated topic.”
Anyone interested in attending can register for the webinar by visiting www.royalcanin.co.uk/reprowebinar. 2818 views
