Five year old Tansy Richardson from Cornwall has been announced the winner of Royal Canin’s ‘Summer of the Cat’ competition – held last year to boost practices’ relationships with cat owning customers. Tansy pictured with Veterinary Nurses Grace Thomson and Megan Eastwood from Head and Head Veterinary Surgeons, beat off stiff competition from runners up; Richard Isaac and Caroline Boote to receive a year’s supply of Royal Canin cat food for her pet Jasper, and a large A3 poster of her storyboard.
Royal Canin was inundated with many wonderful storyboards depicting the adventures of cats from across the country. The interactive summer campaign ‘Summer of the Cat’ encouraged cat owners to enter a competition, by sharing adventures their cat had over the summer with their vet practice. Entry forms, which contained spaces for photos and drawings, were distributed nationally to practices along with other promotional materials, including an offer to ‘feed your cat for free for a week’.
Veterinary Marketing Executive Richard Skinner commented “We would like to express our thanks to everyone that took part in the competition and well done to winner Tansy Richardson. We’ve had great fun reading all the completed storyboards, and are confident that this and other initiatives will help increase loyalty at participating vet practices.”More from
