Royal Canin is to promote its cat owner education software, Catom, at this year’s BSAVA. Experts will be on hand to guide delegates through the software and demonstrate how the unique tool can support Vets and Vet Nurses when giving explanations to cat owners during consultations.
The leading pet-food manufacturer will also be hosting its popular ‘Tornado Tunnel’ competition, where delegates can try their hand at catching the winning slips. With over 900 prizes up for grabs, three lucky winners will walk away with an iPad Mini whilst other goodies include feline and canine clinical encyclopaedias, capsule speakers, Parker pens and USBs.
Lindsay Calcraft, Royal Canin’s Veterinary Marketing Manager explained: “By promoting the Catom software, we’re able to show delegates how to ‘bring to life’ a cat’s illness or injury through annotating x-rays and images. Not only will this be a key focus but we will also be encouraging Vets and Vet Nurses to sign up to our annual ‘Weigh in Club’ competition to help cats and dogs lose weight safely. Last year we had 117 entries from across the UK and Ireland, so we are hoping to see similar results during 2013.”
Royal Canin is also offering free Focus Magazine subscriptions to all attendees that sign-up and will have its latest Veterinary Care Nutrition range on display as well.
