Tasty new Milbemax® for cats – "If a cat can be fed... it can be wormed"
Milbemax® is now available in a new and improved tasty formulation for cats and kittens, providing a palatable worming solution which is even simpler to use and so stress-free for cats and owners.
The new artificial beef flavoured tablet is the same small size as the original and has an excellent palatability profile. Trials show that 100 per cent of cats accept the treatment with wet food and 83 per cent with dry food1.
Verity Page, Brand Manager at Novartis says: "Market research has shown that palatable treatments are considered the most convenient by pet owners2. Our new tasty Milbemax tablets provide a stress-free solution to worming that clients and their cats will love. Milbemax tasty tablets also allow instant pet contact post treatment, helping improve both client compliance and client satisfaction. What’s more, owners can be reassured that their pet is covered against all major intestinal parasites*."
To help promote worming the palatable way, Novartis is offering practices some tasty marketing tools to use including posters, client leaflets, worming reminder pads and even a sturdy cut-out cat for reception.
Novartis will also be running a 'Name Our Cat' competition with the chance to win an iPod touch complete with an educational podcast; there are five to be won. Entry details can be obtained from your local Novartis Territory Manager.
