Following huge interest in “The Laminitis Revolution” live online broadcast, Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica has announced that it is now available on demand via the ‘Talk About Laminitis’ website - www.talkaboutlaminitis.co.uk - and are urging veterinary surgeons to recommend viewing to even more clients. Over 1,000 horse owners registered to view the broadcast which went out live on the 10th April and 750 people watched the live 1½ hour programme end to end.
With comments from owners who have already viewed including “a first class presentation”, “most informative and easy to follow” and “enlightening”, the presentation is a must see for owners who have struggled with laminitis.
The broadcast is presented by David Rendle BVSc MVM CertEM(IntMed) DipECEIM RCVS & European Specialist in Equine Internal Medicine MRCVS from the Liphook Equine Hospital in Hampshire. David educates horse owners on how the veterinary profession’s understanding of this debilitating and devastating condition has been completely revolutionised over the past five years, and urges them to be more proactive about seeking veterinary intervention to help reduce recurrence of laminitis.
Following the live broadcast, Boehringer Ingelheim has reported a surge in the number of free ACTH vouchers downloaded and report that over 1,400 horses have been tested in the first four weeks of the 2013 “Talk About Laminitis” disease awareness initiative.
To view the webinar visit www.talkaboutlaminitis.co.uk where free ACTH blood test vouchers can also be downloaded until the end of June.*
