Veterinary owned CPD webinar provider, The Webinar Vet, has announced that it has been shortlisted in The Liverpool Echo Regional Business Awards. In just its sixth year of trading, the company will take part in an evening awards ceremony at St George’s Hall in Liverpool, in the ‘ECHO Knowledge Business of the Year’ category, says owner and founder of The Webinar Vet, Anthony Chadwick MRCVS.

According to The Liverpool Echo Regional Business Awards, this is the biggest, the best and longest standing business awards in the Merseyside region, with a long history of recognising and rewarding successful businesses across all sectors.

“The Webinar Vet was set up in early 2010 and we now have nearly 30,000 vets and nurses in our community,” says Anthony. “We offer free and paid webinars to our membership community and can accommodate up to 1000 attendees at a webinar. However all lectures are recorded so that vets and nurses can also access the recordings at their leisure.

“Our mission is to make veterinary education accessible and affordable to vets and nurses worldwide. We know how difficult it can be to fit everything in, and often have members telling us how we have helped them become less stressed in life because of the ease of finding CPD.

“Our recent Mindfulness Series run in conjunction with the RCVS Mind Matters Initiative was led by Dr Mike Scanlan and had over 1,200 people registered. Delegates included Vets, Vet Nurses, Students, Practice Managers and Receptionists. As businesses, I think it is important to have a corporate responsibility to ensure that our teams are not put under unnecessary stress,” he concludes.

The awards are sponsored by KPMG, DLA Piper and Lloyds Bank and the results will be announced at the ceremony on June 23rd.
