Top Line-up For Merial’s Annual Equine CPD Event, In Richmond This Year

The Lensbury Hotel, Richmond is the latest venue for equine vets wishing to update their knowledge and CPD, courtesy of Merial’s popular annual one-day event in May.
A top line-up of equine specialists is set to present on equine respiratory and internal medicine, along with practice benchmarking, before delegates enjoy an afternoon’s boating on the Thames.
Open to all equine veterinary surgeons, the combined CPD and fun event takes place on May 21st 2014. Merial’s Louise Radford MRCVS, explains: “We have a top line-up of speakers set to provide high calibre equine CPD at what promises to be an informative as well as entertaining event!

Emily Haggett BVSc DACVIM MRCVS, Rossdales, Newmarket: A practical approach to examining, investigating and treating a foal with colic.
Professor Andy E Durham BSc.BVSc.CertEP.DEIM.DipECEIM.MRCVS RCVS & European Specialist in Equine Internal Medicine, Partner at Liphook Equine Hospital: With the increasing number of equine influenza outbreaks in the UK, and the absence of Richmond ’07 in UK vaccine products, Prof. Durham reviews the status of protection against the threat of equine influenza.
