Sustainable practice of the future being unveiled at LVS
Vet Sustain And IVC Evidensia Unveil ‘Sustainable Veterinary Practice Of The Future’ At London Vet Show 2025
Veterinary professionals attending this year’s London Vet Show (20-21 November 2025) are invited to step inside the ‘Sustainable Veterinary Practice of the Future’ – an interactive installation designed to showcase how greener, leaner and healthier ways of working can benefit animals, people, the planet and business viability.
The installation, a collaboration between Vet Sustain and IVC Evidensia, supported by MSD Animal Health, will give delegates the chance to explore over 50 practical steps to help their practices grow sustainably. Visitors will be able to drop in, chat with the team of veterinary sustainability experts, try out the latest technology and browse best practice solutions.
Laura Gelder-Robertson, CEO of Vet Sustain, said:
“We want to show the best of what already exists within veterinary sustainability, to bring to life the business benefits for veterinary teams in a really hands-on, practical way that people can touch and feel and relate back to their everyday practice. This is a really positive news story where by sharing knowledge and collaborating across the profession, we can continually improve the health and wellbeing of animals, people, the environment and business.”
The programme includes an interactive panel discussion, "Discover the Quadruple Bottom Line: Unlocking The Future of Veterinary Sustainability In Your Practice Across Animals, People, Planet and Business”, taking place on Thursday 20 November from 12:10–13:10 in the IVC Evidensia Theatre with experts: Sarah Heath (Group Sustainability Director, IVC Evidensia), Laura Gelder-Robertson, (CEO of Vet Sustain), Jim Hopkins, (Chair of Vet Sustain’s Food & Farming Working Group, Chair of the Farm Animal Clinical Board IVC Evidensia and Clinical Director at Stefffan Vets), Catriona Curtis (Group Head of Sustainability - IVC Evidensia) and Suzanne McNabb, (Clinical Director of the Neighbourhood Vet), chaired by Caroline Gardner (Vice Chair of Small Animal Clinical Board, IVC Evidensia).
Sarah Heath, Group Sustainability & ESG Director at IVC Evidensia, added:
“Veterinary teams are increasingly aware of the need to balance animal health and welfare with environmental responsibility and business resilience. This installation brings together practical solutions and the latest thinking to help practices make meaningful progress, whatever their starting point.”
The ‘Sustainable Practice of the Future’ is made possible thanks to the support of MSD Animal Health, CloserStill Media, Byerley Ltd (design), and Rocket (build). For more information about Vet Sustain, visit https://vetsustain.org/ . Delegates to London Vet Show can visit the stand at spot Q10.
